Hi everyone. I just wanted to let you know that psots over the next few weeks will probably be very sporadic.  I had surgery on Tuesday and now I am in recovery. The surgery went very well and everyone is fine, but the recovery is a lot more difficult than I had anticipated.

I am so blessed to be surrounded by people who love and support me. Big Man is taking some time off work to look after me and the kids, and we are also getting a lot of help from our family. Thank you so much to everyone who is helping us out and praying. You are a blessing.

I’ll be back to the blog as soon as I can!

Good Morning! Here’s this week’s post roundup.

Kisses and Kiddos

The Wild Child - This is an interesting guest post over at the Love, Honor, and Vacuum blog. I love it when bloggers are willing to take on the more challenging subjects.

Fall in Love All Over Again - A great article from The Happy Wives Club about keeping the right perspective in your marriage.

The Bible’s Answer to Sexual Temptation- An excellent reminder from J at Hot, Holy, and Humorous.

Yumminess

Mocha Cupcakes - These treats from the Shugary Sweets blog look so cute and delicious!

Skillet Lasagna -I really like the idea of lasagna flavors without all the work involved in actually making lasagna. I’m planning on trying this recipe from Pink Parsley soon.

Roasted Berry and Brie Salad - Berries and brie and orange vinaigrette. Yum. (from The Curvy Carrot)

Loaded Baked Potato Soup - I’m excited it is almost soup weather so I can try out this recipe from My Life as a Mrs.

Just for Fun and Giggles

Recipes for Movie Genres – This GeekTyrant infographic made me giggle.

And here’s this poor sad dinosaur:

Sorry I’ve been MIA from the blog that last couple weeks. I’ve been busy around the house and sometimes life just takes over, you know?  Anyway, I should be back to regular posting in the next few weeks.  Here’s this week’s list of Happy Homekeeping Moments.

1. Big Man and I enjoyed a dinner theater double date with his parents.

2. Little Man sings a lot now. He can actually keep on pitch pretty well when singing along with songs he knows.

3. The Little Ones are playing with each other more and more. They get along very well in general and enjoy making each other laugh.

4. Three words: Homemade Blueberry Applesauce. Total win!

5. After a month in the shop, our car is finally fixed.

Hope y’all are having a great Friday! See you tomorrow for Sample Saturday.
