God has blessed me far beyond my wildest imagination. In more ways than I could ever describe, but the one I was thinking about recently was the kids. I have always heard that children are a blessing and before I had kids I always thought it meant a blessing to the parents. Well, Little Man and Little Lady are great blessings to Big Man and me, but they are also blessings in the lives of so many other people.
We are fortunate to live close to our parents and extended families, and the kids get to see their grandparents every week. This is wonderful for them, and for Big Man and me to have lots of babysitters so that we can get a break every so often. And it is amazing how much the Little Ones bless their grandparents and the rest of the family, just by being themselves. Little Man is all about giving kisses, high fives, and hugs to everyone. He runs and plays and smiles with complete abandon and you can’t help but smile when you watch him. Little Lady is a very happy, smiley baby. Even this young, she is very interactive with everyone around her and her smiles and giggles are precious. It is great fun for Big Man and I to see our parents love their grandkids so much. There have been some hard things for our parents to go through in the last couple years, but they have told us so many times how much they love watching the kids and playing with them and thinking about them. The Little Ones bring smiles and happiness wherever they go. Not just to us, but to so may other people. I think God made Little Ones with the ability to draw people together, and I know for us the kids have provided lots of joy and love to everyone they see.
I’m very thankful for my Little Ones, and how much God blesses our whole family through them.
